Follow us on LinkedIn as AASHTO re:source. https://www.linkedin.com/company/aashto-re-source On August 22, 2016, the AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL) became AASHTO re:source. For over 50 years we have been promoting quality in the construction material testing industry. What started with laboratory assessments and proficiency samples, expanded with the creation of the AASHTO Accreditation Program. More recently, we’ve responded to customer needs by providing learning tools and being industry advocates. In cooperation with the FHWA and Harpers Enterprise, we’ve also created customized training for state engineers. Now, we are launching our first-ever Technical Exchange in March 2017, as an opportunity for the industry to learn from subject matter experts and share ideas with their peers. This natural evolution has prompted us to rework the way we present ourselves to our customers. The AASHTO re:source name is part of a larger rebranding effort and reflects our evolution over the past 50 years. Although the AMRL name has changed, the AASHTO Accreditation Program name has remained the same. Agencies requiring AASHTO accreditation do not need to reword their specifications. AASHTO re:source will continue to respond to customer needs for assessments, proficiency samples, accreditation, and more. We remain committed to being a resource to our customers by making our expert knowledge more accessible through on-line and on-site training, relevant articles and more. If you have questions regarding this change that are not answered here, please contact us at info@aashtoresource.org or 240-436-4900.
