Blackfriars is a 21st-century restaurant located in a 13th-century friary in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne. Voted Taste of the North East, listed in Hardens and Good Food Guides with 1 AA Rosette, it serves a locally-inspired menu showcasing the North East at it's best. As well as the 80-seat restaurant, it also houses a unique Parlour Bar, 50 seat Banquet Hall, purpose-built Cookery School, Tasting Room and Dormitory Meeting Room.
