StartAP is the idea pioneered to foster entrepreneurship within the newly formed Andhra Pradesh state, and to bring together the brightest young talent from within the state. StartAP is a portmanteau of the words startup and AP, which stresses the fact that the entire state of Andhra Pradesh is a startup in itself, and needs to be built from scratch, and that only entrepreneurs can make this happen. StartAP's vision is to promote entrepreneurship and startup culture within Andhra Pradesh, and to help create AP's brand image as a future startup hub of India.
