WIT Angels Club aims to create a place where women can get together and learn about becoming angel investors, where they can review opportunities to invest, consult with other potential angels, and explore partnering options. We see this as a club of like-minded, cooperative ladies who analyse and discuss investment opportunities together and invest individually, rather than a closed, competitive group. Once these future great angel investors decide on an opportunity, they will receive support to structure the deal and complete the investment. Also, they will be able to discuss post-investment challenges, share experience and back the next great pioneers/entrepreneurs who have a world-changing idea. Therefore, WIT Angels Club will succeed in reaching its wonderful objectives: 1. Sustain innovation in Technology that makes sense - women angel investors will be able to invest in the technology that builds the present and the future according to their values and vision of the world 2. Empower women to become angel investors - women have all the skills necessary to become great angel investors. However, there is still a lot to do to close the gender gap around start-ups cap table 3. Encourage and support gender and culture diversity entrepreneurship - throughout WIT's start-up selection process, we engage to support the mixed and culture-diversified founding team, as diversity is a superpower !
