EnerTherm Ltd
www.enerthermuk.comEnerTherm Ltd is developing a number of advanced thermal coatings. Their latest coating is a very novel high build thermal coating which is targeting specific areas such as thermal insulation, corrosion, under insulation protection (CUI), cryogenic, safe touch and personal protection. EnerTherm Ltd have spent significant amount of time and resource to test in their laboratory to evaluate over a dozen of existing thermal insulating coating. All of the coating tested had similar issues: - No resistance to thermal cycling - Limited temperature range (-40DegC to 190DegC) - Discolouration towards high temperature range - Very limited thermal performance with varying thermal conductivity - Low to mid film build only (1-5 mm thickness film only) limited thermal performance The technology that EnerTherm Ltd have developed involves the combination of a new breed of high tech binders and state of the art fillers which has not yet been put together. The thermal insulations that EnerTherm Ltd are currently developing covers a wider range of temperature from -250DegC to 400DegC.
