The Access Centre also provides services to foreign-trained skilled workers seeking certification in other professional occupations. Whether you are interested in having your educational credentials assessed, learning more about the licensure process for a specific profession or exploring related employment opportunities, the Access Centre can help. OUR SERVICES . Provincial licensure information and application submission assistance . Personalized work plans for clients seeking licensure or trade equivalency assessment in Ontario . Facilitating document translation, assessment, evaluation and notarization . Advocacy and referrals for financial support . Relevant labour market information . Information and assistance with the certification processes of related occupations . Computer terminals, Internet access and exam preparation resources . Facilitating connections between employers and internationally trained individuals OUR PROGRAMS Internationally Trained Worker Loan Program The Loan Program provides ITWs (residing in southwestern Ontario) access to the funds necessary to achieve foreign credential recognition and employment outcomes commensurate with their international education, skills, and experience. Loans assist ITWs in covering the direct and indirect costs related to foreign credential recognition. Counselling for Alternative Employment Pathways (CAEP) Internationally Trained Professionals may access CAEP guidance, support, assessment and planning for a determined alternative employment pathway as well as dedicated job development that will market prepared job seekers for alternative employment opportunities. The Access Centre also assist employers in meeting their Human Resources needs.
