Beyond Innocence Foundation (BIF) is an NGO that will provide a Safe House/Rescue Center for abused minors in Taita. Mission BIF’s most important aim is to trace kids going through such abuse, offer them a safe haven and help them enjoy their childhood and rebuild their lives. By removing the minors from the un safe environment, our objective is to provide a safe temporary home where kids will have the chance to continue with their education, receive emotional and psychological counseling while we find them permanent safe and stable foster homes. Company Overview We hope to live to see a world where the weak, especially minors live free of fear of rape, abuse of any kind, free to make their personal choices, free to get education, free to be girls and grown up into full women, free to just be kids and enjoy a safe childhood. With BIF, we hope to build that so desperately needed rescue center and safe house where minors can receive treatment and feel safe out of the hands of the abusers. Description The Beyond Innocence Foundation (BIF) was founded in 2012 and officially registered in 2013. BIF is a Non -Govermental Organization that provides a safe house, a home and rescue center for abused minors. The home is the only facility in Taita County so far, offering shelter for sexually, emotionally & physically abused minors, including those running away from early or forced marriages. General information Beyond Innocence Foundation is a legally registered Stichting(NGO) in The Netherlands and a legally registered Community Based Organization(CBO) in Kenya. BIF- NL is used as the main contact office and Fund Raising location, while BIF- KE is where the Safe House & Rescue Center is located.
