The Cold Lake Ambulance Society (CLAS) provides emergency medical services (EMS), through a contractual agreement with Alberta Health Services (AHS). CARING We provide services to more than 14,000 people in our catchment and service area which spans over 4300 square kms. LEADERSHIP We are proud of our Society’s progress since its inception in 1975. Our Society benefits from the leadership of the volunteer board of directors, the management, a full-time Operations Manager and the dedicated work service provided by administrative personnel and professional paramedic practitioners. Together we ensure 24/7/365 quality EMS service provision. ACCOUNTABILITY By adopting a flexible operational model, we are able to align our system with provincial requirements. Our system has met and surpassed compliance and accountability requirements. SERVICE QUALITY Our commitment to service quality, has been reflected in our superior accreditation with commendation from Accreditation Canada .
