The centre of innovation of Lubumbashi (C.I.L)is an emerging innovation center in the city of Lubumbashi in the DRC, providing young innovators and Technology- led entrepreneurs with a set of one-stop innovation programs & incubation services that fit the local content. The aim of CIL, also called the CINOLU network, is to support the transformation of the local community as a vibrant and competitive innovation ecosystem of international calibre through a lean innovation pipeline focussed on enabling competitiveness of Young people , their products , services and processes thus their stratups . The vision of the CINOLU is to become one of the most vibrant youth-led regional hub and Startups connector supporting the emergence of smarter and competitive cities in the DRC and within the central Africa region. Our Innovation pipeline is lean and focus on three pillars : Innovation, technology and entrepreneurship : Ideas --> Support ---> Protype---> Startup---> Incubation--> return of experience Our management style is loose, unconventional and interactive to overcome barrier of hierarchy and stimulate knowledge creation & sharing. Our operating model focus on building the fundation of a solid innovative capacity thourgh the implemention scalable innovation centres called " innovation cells". The aim is that they are small enough to minimise cost, to be replicable and grow viral in number , strong in quality and potential in order to feed the incubator ecosystem with competitive stratups.
