The Center for Listening Disorders Research has been formed to take a top-down, and integrated look at each of the integrated processes that make up, what we call listening, and the issues that affect the accuracy and effectiveness of the total listening process. We provide educational seminars, workshops and aim to be a portal to information and assistance on the broad spectrum of issues that can negatively affect effective listening. In addition, the Center offers individualized listening rehabilitation programs to assist people who have difficulty understanding spoken messages, such as people who get hearing aids and are dissatisfied with the results, people who have difficulty listening to speech in noise, etc.
