Polychromos GmbH was founded in 2008 by Mr. Erik Peters and a partner in Geilenkirchen, Germany, and started its operative business in 2009. Mr. Peters, a plastics engineer, has over 25 years of experience in dealing with fluoropolymers and high temperature thermoplastics having significantly contributed to inventions and new developments in this material field. Since January 2015, Polychromos® is a part of Fietz Group, operating since then under the company name Fietz Polychromos. Upon acquisition, the company moved into a modern production hall that provides a basis for growth – located a few hundred meters from Fietz headquarters at Industriestrasse.
