Dancing Classrooms Philly’s mission is to foster self–esteem, social awareness, mutual respect, teamwork and joy in young people and their communities through social dance education and performance. Dancing Classrooms Philly uses social dance education to advance and improve a range of behavioral skills that are proven to provide long-term benefits to health and well-being including decision-making, goal-setting, communication, relationship building, attachment and motivation, teaming skills, focus, self-control, determination, and joy in the children we serve.
