MFAc Internship Advisory Board
miab.info.yorku.caThe Master of Financial Accountability Internship Advisory Board(MIAB) is a not-for- profit organisation that was created in August 2019 to facilitate MFAc Students with more employment opportunities(co-op, internships and graduate jobs) and career skill development opportunities. The organization is run completely on a voluntary basis with the assistance of York University. The MFAc Internship Advisory Board (MIAB) consists of several sub-working groups including the MFAc Student Society that work to ensure the smooth running and operation of our organisation. Together with our other stakeholders, we organize a variety of orientations, skills development sessions, panel discussions and recruitment events for our MFAc students. All these events are carefully crafted to bridge the gap between our learning courses and the job market. This will also allow students to expand their network, develop and enhance their professional skills and knowledge and to increase the likelihood of employment opportunities(full-time, part-time, co-ops, graduate programs) either during the program or when they graduate.
