Health Hope International Medical Laboratory Limited is a testing institution established in September 2020 in Hong Kong. The laboratory is located in To Kwa Wan. There are two negative pressure laboratories and one positive pressure laboratory, equipped with a full range of advanced medical laboratory equipment, such as KingFisher™ Flex Purification System, Thermo™ 7500, Real-Time PCRS System, 1300 Series Class II, Type A2 Biological Safety Cabinet. The COVID-19 RNA test is approved by the CHP and is conducted by a team of qualified health professionals, laboratory technologists and scientists. The test adopts the RT-PCR technique, which is also a detection method using in many countries. Based on validated studies of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the analysis of the China's National Health Commission, the sensitivity and specificity of COVID-19 RT-PCR Test both reach 99.9% in COVID-19 detection.
