Company (MKR-IC) is an integrated circuit design company focusing on high speed data converter design, radio frequency (RF) applications and millimeter wave design with expertise on both analog and digital realms. Our company has its roots in the design center established in 1992 under the umbrella of the ITU-ETA Foundation in Istanbul, to provide ASIC solutions, principally to local electronics companies, forming a bridge with the worldwide electronics industry. The design center was transformed into “Mikroelektronik Ltd.” in 2004 as a result of a joint initiative by ITU-ETA Foundation and AKÇASU Software Company (a subsidiary of OEA International,Inc.) In 2010, buying all the shares except for the part belonging to ITU-ETA Foundation, ASELSAN became the main shareholder. As a subsidiary of a major defense company, bulk of our designs demand performance at state-of-the-art and beyond state-of-the-art level that is customary in the defense industry.
