Our Vision - Provide affordable assessment opportunities for those want to investigate possible Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs). The most common SpLD’s are Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Attention Deficit Disorder/Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder, Dyscalculia and Dysgraphia; - Enhance the literacy and life skills of those with undiagnosed and diagnosed additional learning needs, allowing them to achieve their full potential; - Provide employers with the required foundations to support their employees with additional learning needs. Our specialist teachers and assessors are highly qualified and recognised by the following professional bodies: - British Dyslexia Association (BDA) and hold an Associate Member of the BDA (AMBDA) membership. AMBDA indicates a high standard of professional competence in both diagnostic assessment and teaching; - Patoss, a professional association of teachers of students with specific learning difficulties, for all those concerned with the teaching and support of pupils with SpLD, for example, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculic and ADHD. Our assessors hold a current Assessment Practicing Certificate (APC). An APC underpins a specialist teacher’s qualifications and competence to undertake full diagnostic assessments for Dyslexia/Specific Learning Difficulties; - Education Workforce for Wales as a teacher. All staff have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and insured.
