dr. doreen dodgen-magee is a clinical psychologist in portland oregon.  maintaining both a clinical and consulting practice, she has 20 years of experience working with individuals and groups in the areas of parenting, relational health, and emotional maturation.  she is a contributor to several magazines and journals and is a frequent speaker to professional/medical organizations, school districts, faith based and civic groups on topics such as creating effective working teams, the impact of overuse of technology on children, successful launching into young adulthood, and raising children with their imagination and sense of self intact.  in her role as a training therapist she leads workshops for mental health professionals and physicians. regarding establishing norms that ensure efficacious and potent treatment results.
