Hearts and Hands helps people in Western New York remain in their communities of choice by providing trained volunteers to assist them. Our volunteers, teens to seniors, help their neighbors by providing transportation for medical appointments and personal errands, caregiver respite services, minor home repairs, and friendly visits at no charge regardless of age, income, race or religion. Started in February 2003, Hearts and Hands is a non-profit, best effort program supported by a coalition of local interfaith and community based organizations who wish to promote the value of neighbors helping neighbors. We make Volunteering Easy! We give our volunteers to choose the tasks that are convenient for them to support. Whether you have five minutes or five hours, whether you are available once a week, once a month or once every six months, it is appreciated and impacts your community.
