Golden Gate Mothers Group is a San Francisco-based volunteer organization for moms and run by moms. Our goal is to engage families in the wide variety of opportunities this city has to offer while sharing advice and support through experts and our own members. GGMG, founded in 1996, provides a comfortable place for moms and children to connect with others who have shared interests and backgrounds, meet new and interesting people, and find great deals and activities throughout the city. Our roughly 4,500 members represent a wide range of ages, ethnicities and professions throughout San Francisco. Membership is open only to women living in San Francisco who are expecting a child or have at least one child younger than 6 years old. Please go to ggmg.org for more information about joining. GGMG members enjoy special discounts available only to them on goods and services in San Francisco for both children and adults. We schedule fun and entertaining events for members and their children in the city several times a month and also host several annual family events -- and many moms-only events --- during the year.
