OUR HISTORY: Royalty Solutions stems from a family-owned, 90-year-old music publishing business, and a NMPA Top 100 music publishing company, Memory Lane Music Group. Both companies are helmed by the family’s third generation of music business entrepreneurs, Mark Spier. After joining Memory Lane, Mark identified royalty processing as an underserved area that is further complicated by the challenges of digital distribution. Mark knew that mere software could not replace the knowledge and effort of an experienced royalties department so he quickly established Royalty Solutions in 2003. Royalty Solutions now delivers its clients the advantage of this specialized expertise without the outlay of in-house resources.
