The company has always been property of the Ciuoffo family and all the seven owners still carry the same surname. Before founding Barbagelata Adriatica, Dr. Salvatore Ciuoffo has been navigating since long time as Captain, therefore he knew exactly what were the precise needs of the vessels and their crews. His lessons have been absorbed by his sons that have been raised working for the company and now are preparing the third generation for the job.
