We started Shining Light Galway in 2020 after seeing the need in the Galway migrant community, particularly those living in appalling conditions in Direct Provision. We are passionate about supporting others in the community so they grow and excel. How we help: Delivery of food donated by local Galway retailers. Collection and delivery of clothing and other items such as furniture donated by the local community Free tutoring in basic English and mathematics. Help accessing other vital services, and a supportive community to help people in whatever way we can.
