The Hanseatischer Börsenkreis der Universität zu Hamburg e.V. (HBK) is the student investment club initiative of the University of Hamburg. Since 1995 the main goal of the charity organization is to inform and to support the public with information about financial markets to develop a broader culture of investors in Germany. Spotlight Finance • In order to fulfil this ambition the HBK organizes monthly lectures given by banking professionals from various Bulge Brackets, Asset Managers as well as Fintechs to an audience with 50 up to 70 people. Börsentag Hamburg • Furthermore the HBK is responsible for the organization of the largest one day financial congress in Germany – Börsentag Hamburg.
