A Richmond based nonprofit organization that through community engagement, overcomes barriers and transforms lives through creating visual art, promoting the healing and wellbeing of children and adults, with a special focus on people in isolating circumstances. Programs include classes for incarcerated women, at-risk children, frail elderly, specialized services for people with dementia and Alzheimer's and ongoing adult studio classes open to the public. Art for The Journey is a volunteer driven organization and invites artists and others simply interested in serving others to assist in any and all programs.
