Introduction The New Zealand Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (NZCCHK) was founded in 1982 to promote New Zealand's economic presence in Hong Kong. Since then, the continued increase in population, capital and trade flows between New Zealand, Hong Kong and the People’s Republic of China have all been factors in the Chamber's activities. The Chamber currently has over 165 members, comprising of individuals and corporate nominees. Objectives The objectives of the Chamber are to provide a forum between New Zealand, Hong Kong and China's business executives to: - Discuss and promote business ideas - Create a supportive and encouraging business environment - Assist individuals and companies seeking to increase business, trade or investment - Promote and expand the business and awareness of New Zealand - Establish and maintain relationships with other business organisations - Monitor business, political, economic and legal developments - Maintain relationships with agencies associated with the development of trading links
