It all started in 2008 when… We brought together all the top hockey players that call Metro Detroit home during the summer months. Players from the top Midget Leagues, Junior A, Major Junior, College and pro levels including the NHL made up the Eastside Elite Hockey Summer League in Metro Detroit. We’ve since expanded to now include Elite Leagues in both Detroit and Toronto, a Women’s league, a Tier II league, a high school league, camps, private lessons, an annual all-star event and golf outing, unique and exclusive tournaments, and many other community events. Our annual all-star game and golf outing brings the community together to support and raise money for organizations including Special Olympics, Stop Concussions, Mt. Clemens Hockey Association, Autism Awareness, ALS, the Kiefer Foundation to End Distracted Driving, and we’ve also awarded scholarships for continued education.
