The group founded over 65 years ago has grown to become a market leader in marine communications, navigational and safety electronics, with annual revenues of over 125m Euros. The core business of Telemar (UK) Ltd is the sourcing and supplying of marine electronics, their installation and commissioning as well as maintenance and repair. It supports that equipment worldwide, drawing on its substantial resources and expertise of its global network of offices and agents in key ports around the world. Telemar (UK) Ltd is expanding this locally and regionally with a planned network of Sales & Service Centres in key ports around the UK. The first of these were opened last year in Aberdeen and Grangemouth, with qualified and experienced engineers and personal to support both the shipping and offshore oil and gas industries in that region. Other centres are planned for later this year, including Southampton.
