Invitrometrix
www.invitrometrix.comInvitrometrix develops and manufactures a multi-well whole-cell quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) biosensor for the pharmaceutical and research industry. Our device makes real time quantitative measurement of phenotypic changes. The Invitrometrix QCM detects measurable changes in cellular biomechanics: attachment, mass redistribution, and viscoelasticity. The system can be used with multiple cell types (disease vs. normal) for experiments that acquire real time data for multiple days. Some valuable uses of Invitrometrix multi-well cell-based QCM are: repurposing orphan molecules, investigating ligands that have a known ligand and receptor pair, and investigating ligands that bind multiple receptors. It can be used to monitor cell differentiation and the onset of cell based disease such as neuron differentiation and degeneration. Most importantly, the Invitrometrix QCM can be used to investigate multi subunit receptors commonly found in membranes, and the down-stream pathway reaction they elicit. Invitrometrix can also provide collaborative research drug discovery services. The scope of services include molecule pre-discovery, target identification and validation, detection of safety and efficacy of drugs in multiple organ tissue types, investigation of drug mechanism of action, monitoring of differentiation and disease onset, and mechanism of death.
