Tamboti Bush Lodge Our lodge is also our home and my wife Pixie and I have taken great care to make the lodge as inviting as possible to guests. We want our guests to enjoy the tranquility that we offer at our little lodge. There is an a la carte restaurant on the premises with a quaint little bar. Our restaurant is well known for good nourishing food. Our staff are well trained and have been with us for an average of about 8 years. Our staff make our lodge what it is. Many reviews cite the wonderful treatment that our guests receive from our staff members. Our lodge is very tranquil with 6 rooms in the main house plus 2 log cabins. The log cabins face onto 2 dams. Both dams are great fishing venues in the summer. The honeymoon suite, called Thutlwa is a very large suite with an enormous bed and is very popular for honeymoons, birthdays, anniversaries etc. All of the other rooms, cabins and tent are en-suite. Ingwe suite is continental in design with the shower in the bedroom. Each of the suites has its own character and Pixie is an artist and has painted canvasses to enhance the character of each of the suites. We are in a malaria free area inside the Big 5 Dinokeng Game Reserve . Winters in the reserve are amazing with virtually no cloud cover from April to October, nights are cool Our lodge is extremely safe. The lodge is surrounded by the latest elephant and predator proof electric fencing in a Big 5 area. There shops within 5 kms of the lodge and a mall within 20kms of the lodge. Tamboti Restaurant Tamboti Restaurant is just one of those great places to enjoy a really good meal. We do not serve fancy French cuisine or those little mickey mouse meals, we serve a wholesome good plate of food. We have some tasty starters, awesome main courses and to finish off a meal, stunning desserts.
