The Children's Center of Lexington strives to provide a nurturing, child-centered learning environment. We promote the development of children’s social-emotional, physical, and intellectual skills through a variety of hands-on activities. The children will engage in science, math, and literacy concepts though play-based centers such as art, block work, dramatic play. They will have the chance to explore our large playground where they will build their physical strength on our many climbing structures and bike path, and explore sand and water play in our gorgeous outdoor sensory table. Children will be exposed to the community though neighborhood walking trips and visits to local establishments as we explore Lexington’s town center. In addition, CCL offers special programs like Amazing Athletes, Music and Movement with Fran, Jeff Jams, Winter Performing Arts Series, and off-site field trips for pre-schoolers.
