Unless Pictures is a creative production company, founded by Meg O’Connell in 2019, with a focus on developing smart stuff to watch on screen — by empowering the next generations of creatives to tell the stories they want to tell. In 2020 Unless Pictures co-created and produced Retrograde for ABC TV (co-produced with Orange Entertainment Co.) This year our cosy team of two has already co-produced two short films through the NITV No Ordinary Black Initiative and are executive producing six shorts for the Screen Queensland RIDE Shorts Initiative. Unless is currently developing a slate of original work, supported by Screen Queensland Enterprise funding.
