Maasai Girls Rescue Center (MGRC) mission is to transform the lives of the most vulnerable, at-risk Maasai girls in Tanzania. Our work offers Maasai girls a path to break a debilitating cycle of poverty, starvation, FGM, and forced child-marriage. Through your support, MGRC provides a safe and nurturing environment for these girls to receive an education, medical care, and life skills training - empowering them to become independent, self-sufficient women. MGRC has been a part of the Maasai community since 2013 - the locals know us and know our rescue center as a safe place that offers an alternative choice to oppressive cultural norms.
