Sacred Heart Catholic School & Sixth Form Camberwell
www.sacredheart.southwark.sch.ukSacred Heart has long bathed in the light of outstanding GCSE results and, since the establishment of our Sixth Form, we now have excellent A Level grades to celebrate too. Our traditional approach and very strong moral values has been carried forward into our Sixth Form as we prepare our young adults for places at the country’s top universities including Oxford, Cambridge and many other Russell Group universities. We have high expectations of our Sixth Formers who we require to wear professional dress to reflect the professional attitude that they must bring to their studies. In addition to a strong academic emphasis, in the Sixth Form students have access to numerous enrichment activities such as Sixth Form retreats, residential visits, the Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award, theatre trips, peripatetic music lessons, sport and the opportunity to undertake voluntary work. A bespoke careers and work experience programme ensures that every student is guided through the UCAS process to ensure them access to the best universities. Sixth Formers are also able to apply for positions of responsibility within the school, such as Senior Head Boy and Girl, House Captain and Senior Prefects. Entrance criteria and application information are available in this brochure and on the school website.
