Art & Fashion Forum by Grażyna Kulczyk (Stary Browar, Poznan, Poland) during 10 years since it’s creation has became one of the most important events merging art and fashion in this part of Europe. It is a feast for everyone devoted to fashion, who wants to share experience and knowledge with professionals from various backgrounds. It provides space for a professional, yet free discussion on fashion as a mean of communication and phenomenon linking multiply scientific areas like: sociology, psychology, economics, anthropology, history and new technologies. It explores fashion beyond lifestyle and passion, while giving time to talk on new trends and business opportunities, both in Poland and abroad. It has attracted world class change agents of fashion, whose AFF’s appearance was also first visit and reason to come to Poland; among others: Barbara Hulanicki, Nicholas Kirkwood, Scott Schuman, Andrew Bolton, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. AFF consists of workshops providing education in several areas of fashion: design, illustration, writing, photography, jewellery, video; Open University - meeting with fashion experts and AFF Experience - an exhibition showing works developed during the workshops. Festival is organized by Stary Browar and is yet another expression of Grażyna Kulczyk’s life philosophy of combining business with art. It has been awarded the title of the Excellence of Fashion by “Twój Styl” - for the Most Important Fashion Event and for the Excellent Education.
