Expect an unforgettable experience when Denmark in 2025 will be hosting the EuroSkills Championships for the first time. EuroSkills2025 is the European Skills Championships for young skilled professionals that compete in different vocational categories within a long range of sectors like the industrial, craft and service sector. The competition At EuroSkills2025 the focus is on the outstanding achievements of the 700 young, talented and skilled professionals under the age of 25 from more than 30 countries that will compete in about 40 European occupations. The contestants will give their best in the three-day competition. Each profession has its own competition area in the largest exhibition center in Scandinavia, MCH Messecenter Herning, where the young professionals can show their talent. Their ultimate goal is to become the European Champion in their occupation and be awarded one of the coveted medals for their nation on the stage to the Closing Ceremony in the 15,000-seater arena Jyske Bank Boxen. Knowledge and inspiration Around 100,000 visitors from across Denmark and abroad are expected to visit the free-admission competition. Visitors will be able to watch the enthusiastic competitors in action and be inspired by the many professions and even try hands-on job-related skills at the many ‘Try-a-Skill’ demonstrations. Among the visitors will also be tens of thousands of school-aged young people who will be encouraged to understand more about the many different vocational trainings and the career opportunities they offer. Green transition Furthermore EuroSkills2025 is committed to the green agenda and to increase the awareness of the importance of vocational training in the future, in order to secure the skilled workforce that is necessary to succeed in the green transformation. EuroSkills will also contribute to the green transition itself through new green goals and methods in the creation of the EuroSkills2025 event.
