www.actsalliance.orgThe Alliance for Community Transfusion Services (ACTS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, formed in 2010, with the purpose of creating a new model for community blood banking. ACTS is a strategic and operational alliance of self-directed, independent blood centers that model the values of community blood banking and support one another through group initiatives, shared resources, and collective expertise. ACTS blood centers achieve the economic benefits associated with large operations without sacrificing the quality of independent community blood banking. Each year, we collect, process, and distribute more than 1.75 million blood products to patients in more than 850 hospitals and health care facilities throughout the United States. In 2021, ACTS formed the Blood Emergency Readiness Corps (BERC), the nation's first emergency blood reserve program, with 33 community blood centers participating in the endeavor. www.actsalliance.org www.bloodemergencyreadinesscorps.org ACTS Member Centers: -Carter BloodCare (Dallas / Ft.
