www.theagencygrowthfactor.comAbout six months before finishing my time serving as an officer the US Army, I knew it was time to start my job search to prep for civilian life. I heard through the grapevine that a LinkedIn page was what I needed to find a good job. So, I started one. And that was it. I didn’t get my first or second job using LinkedIn - probably because my LinkedIn page and overall engagement on the site sucked. I slowly learned that LinkedIn is basically just like any other free job search platform, except for one key detail...networking. Once I gained an understanding of the type of networking that was required to land jobs, I started helping myself to some pretty outstanding opportunities (especially when it came to pay). I also started helping friends and family use LinkedIn the same way - for both getting jobs and growing their businesses. The key is to engage people in a way to make them want to do business with you without coming off as salesy, even when you’re just “selling yourself.” My time in corporate America has allowed me to become an expert in business process improvement. That combined with my understanding of LinkedIn (and dealing with people), has allowed me to gain the competence needed to help even people I don’t know personally reach their financial goals through the platform. So, I decided to start The Agency Growth Factor to reach as many people as possible. My goal is to show you the ropes of using LinkedIn as effectively and efficiently (cheaply) as possible to make you more money - especially if you’re in the business-to-business field.
