STEM League was founded in 2015 as a club that promoted STEM opportunities to students in the Greater Seattle Area. The club hosted 3 STEM outreach events at local libraries that brought over 200+ aspiring, young students and families to learn about STEM through interactive workshops and hands-on activities. Our team coordinated club members to volunteer at elementary school events and connect with Seattle companies such as Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and Paul G. Allen School for Computer Science and Engineering to give high school students the chance to explore stem career fields. This summer 2020, STEM League is launching the Developer Program, a free, virtual coding program for 6th-10th grade students around the world. Student will learn how to create their own personal projects including creating their own websites in HTML/CSS and Javascript, and data visualization and analysis in Python.
