The Jiddu Krishnamurti Study Centre is one of several Krishnamurti Study Centre’s located in India & abroad. The Centre offers a quiet space for reflecting on one’s life in the light of Krishnamurti’s teachings. The Study Centre is an integral part of the Walden’s Path School and has been created, based on J. Krishnamurti’s Philosophy. The Study Centre provides an atmosphere of reflection and inquiry into a deep study of the Teachings. The Study Centre houses a library of books and a room where one can watch videos, hold serious discussions or simply be quiet. There is no instructor or schedule. One may spend time in listening or sitting quietly by oneself. Regular workshops, gatherings, and seminars are arranged throughout the year. Activities of the Study Centre The Study Centre frequently conducts workshops and informal study sessions for teachers & parents of the school, weekly meetings for the general public and seminars for groups of individuals deeply interested in the teachings. Saturday Meetings (weekly) Teachers, parents and guests meet to see a video and discuss. This is mainly to bring together the teachers and parents to consider questions related to the teachings. Study centre guests and visitors can also participate. These meetings are generally one hour long. We watch a video of Krishnaji responding to questions for 20-30 minutes followed with dialogue. Learning in Sharing The intent of this interaction is to understand oneself in the various human dimensions. We invite you to explore a wholly different way of inquiring and living. It can enable us to address our deep individual and social concerns. The interaction is to explore our life in the light of ‘The Teachings’ of J. Krishnamurti.
