Ballantine Flies was born from a desire to pursue what was meaningful! For us it was to do something that we were really passionate about, didn't have to think long to decide it had something to do with fishing. All my fondest memories are of watching my boys catch their first rainbow, drinking Guinness on fishing trips to Ireland as a teenager with my father and grandfather. Then it developed into pursuing the best flies from around the globe, pursuing the best hooks only using Japanese chemically sharpened products, pursuing the best fly tiers, pursuing the best quality at the best value for you so you can pursue what is meaningful to you.
