YourCrew evolved from lived experience and research into youth suicide and youth help-seeking (or lack of). With the help of many amazing organisations and individuals YourCrew is now a functioning app, and we at the Harrison Riedel Foundation (HRF) are proud of what we have created. Our Key objectives are to: - Increase youth help-seeking for issues big or small - change the distress pathway from risky behaviour to self-help, advice and help-seeking - increase mental health literacy for both youth and the community - increase knowledge of where to go for help for both youth and community - promote safety for youth with a safety plan function and an emergency button YourCrew is a free app that aids young people to get the help and advice they need. YourCrew connects young people with people who they identify as being part of their support network – their Crew. YourCrew also provides self-help resources and pathways to professional help.
