The Townsville & Districts Mendi Blackhawks is a part of Queensland's premier Rugby League competition, the Intrust Super Cup. Commencing in the 2015 season, this exciting development for the sport of rugby league and the North Queensland region was years in the making. The addition has provided for the continued expansion of the game in the region and also give our home-grown talent a reason to stay and play. As the club prepares to enter our 8th year in the Intrust Super Cup season, the Mendi Blackhawks will compete in 5 competitions including the Cyril Connell Challenge U16s, Auswide Bank Mal Meninga Cup U18s, Harvey Norman U19 girls, Hastings Deering Colts U21s and the Intrust Super Cup.
