We are CAFSA and we exist to make giving go further, so together we can transform more lives and communities in Southern Africa. A proud member of the CAF Global alliance, we are cause-neutral and aim to champion all causes equally. CAF SA was founded in 1997 and became a Section 21 not-for-profit organisation in 2000. Whilst being a wholly South African organisation we are also a member of the international Global Alliance of the Charities Aid Foundation, headquartered in the United Kingdom (CAF UK), which has 8 other offices around the world. Our vision is 'to make giving and social investment a part of everyday life'. We assist with CSI and ECI Strategy Development and encourage and facilitate investment of money, in-kind resources and time, by corporates, companies, institutions and individuals, to the NGO sector - the ultimate aim of our work is to support and strengthen the effectiveness of the non-profit sector. We have over 500 validated NGOs across all sectors on our database (these NGOs undergo annual formal CAF due diligence processes) and are currently working with 22 corporate clients to facilitate effective CSI engagement.
