Dr. Newman is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who provides personalized medical care for the whole family in a micropractice setting. What is a Micropractice? A micropractice is a new name for an old style of medical practice. This is a back-to-basics, small staff, one doctor office. The benefits of a micropractice to the patient are many. You always see me, the doctor, at every visit. You spend more time with the doctor; this allows you to experience a more thorough level of care. When you call the office during normal office hours a person answers the phone, and you will know who that person is. If you have an urgent matter after hours, you can page me via the answering service and I will call you back personally since I cover my own call. You will have a doctor that knows you and provides you with hands-on care. This is a different level of care than most people experience. I believe it is a level of care people should experience. The benefits to me, the doctor, are also many. Since I do not have a large staff to support, I can schedule longer office visits. I'm not harried running from room to room. I spend less time managing staff and more time doing what I went into medicine to do. I have the opportunity to spend time getting to know my patients. The extra time allows me to provide a level of care that I am confident with.
