We build and deploy climate smart farming and post-harvest infrastructure for African agriculture to enable smallholder farmers optimize their productivity and incomes. Kitovu uses data to eliminate guesswork and supply chain inefficiencies in African agriculture so as to enable smallholder farmers make more money off their farms. We collect soil and market demand data. The soil data enables us provide farmers with soil and crop specific fertilizers, as well as certified seeds and agrochemicals; which when combined with good agricultural practices successfully triples crop yields. The market demand data on the other hand enables us give farmers information on the crop varieties and specifications to grow so as to guarantee offtake from commodity buyers. As a result, we are able to provide an end to end solution for farmers, from farm to market. Kitovu Technology Company is committed to raising the income levels of farmers who will work with her, from $1 per day to at least $3 a day within two years. We are working towards reaching about 2.9 Million farmers in the next ten years; driving the emergence of an Africa that feeds the world by using technology to enable farmers produce more with less.
