Industrial Innovation Through Technological Transfer was founded in 2000 by some professors of the University of Florence, in order to transfer results and competences from academic research industries and public administration. I2T3 is active in management and development of R&D interdisciplinary projects, mainly in collaboration with research centers and departments from the University of Florence. Technology Transfer and Innovation are critical aspects of industrial development and crucial to promote growth and business evolution. I2T3 has developed important actions towards SMEs and public administrations, mainly within Tuscany, but also with leading national and international companies. Main areas of applications range between energy to mathematical modelling and simulations, to new materials and logistics or optimization of industrial process.
