About Us CFSC is a privately-founded non-profit agency located in Charlotte, NC dedicated to strengthening the Charlotte area’s nonprofit community through access to facilities and services that leads to greater impact and efficiency. CFSC is a multi-tenant non-profit building that houses 12 partner agencies. Our Focus The families and children who need the services of our agencies are those who face multiple challenges daily to provide basic needs, keeping their heads above water in the face of hardship. The many sources, faces, agencies, and locations they need to access can be confusing and even defeating. A family trying to escape the bonds of poverty and homelessness may find it difficult, if not impossible, to provide quality child care or work to insure their child’s school readiness. CFSC can make those differences in the lives of many more families than is now possible. Why Collaborate? While Charlotte’s human services network offers a broad array of services, they are fragmented and not centrally located. Families are often burdened with moving from place to place to allocate viable resources creating a deeper divide. Here’s where the vision of CFSC was birthed. We provide a one stop shop approach to families in need. Our agencies are able to collectively share costs, alleviating budget pain points and focusing on utilizing the vast amount of resources available. Instead of facing budget challenges, the savings agencies receive can be re-directed back to the services provided for families. CFSC offers our partner agencies greater operational efficiencies thru the use of technology, building facilities to include suite space, conference rooms, on-site parking for clients, various consumables, finance, budgeting and human resources support.
