Bangladeshi Students’ Association of Monash University(BSAMU) is a close-knit community of students at Monash University who are enthusiastic about promoting and nurturing Bangladeshi culture on campus. We organize several events every year which cater to the social, intellectual and cultural aspects of our campus community. BSAMU is unique in that it is an equal mix of undergraduate, graduate students and staff and it serves as a platform to unite the wider Bangladeshi population in Melbourne. AIMS & OBJECTIVES: (i) To represent Bangladeshi undergraduate and postgraduate students of Monash University; (ii) To promote interaction between Bangladeshi students at Monash University; (iii) To assist new Bangladeshi students to have a smooth transition into their Monash life; (iv) Besides creating a platform for cultural and leadership practices, to encourage interpersonal skill development through co-curricular activities; and (v) To provide a unique opportunity to share and exchange cultural values of Bangladesh with a multi-cultural society of Monash University.
