Bioeksen R&D Technologies is an Istanbul Technical University ARI Teknokent company established in 2014. The founders of Bioeksen are academics and members of the Microbial Ecology Group, a collaborative research effort of Istanbul Technical University and Bogazici University. Bioeksen is a biotechnology company specialising in research, development and production of innovative molecular technologies. Bioeksen is one of only 23 companies worldwide that have been granted both by Food and Drug Agency Emergency Use Authorization and World Health Organization Emergency Use Listing for the development of SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic products. With a production capacity of over 2 million tests per day, Bioeksen has provided over 200 million Bio-Speedy RT-qPCR tests since the beginning of the pandemic. Bioeksen maintains a robust research and development program that has resulted in the design of hundreds of molecular biotechnology products.
