The Schloss Bogenhofen Seminar is part of the worldwide Adventist education system and offers its students a distinctive Christian education in order to prepare them for a purposeful life of service in church and society. Bogenhofen educates its students with the aim of the holistic development of all physical, mental and spiritual faculties and tries to combine excellent academic teaching with the development of a character that reflects the spiritual ideal as described in the Bible. For several decades the following motto has been given, which is found on the seal of the school: "Ut opus propagandae per orbem lucis procedat celerius" (J. A. Comenius) - that the work of spreading the light over the whole world is more rapid.
